Hearts for Ukraine: More Than Just An Orphans Ministry
Yes helping orphans and war-torn refugees is a great reason to pray for and give to this ministry. But also know that Hearts for Ukraine is assisting eleven partners based in Ukraine. We also support a hospice ministry; the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (who helps mostly Ukrainian and Russian Jews); and we support a ministry dedicated to building Christian schools in Ukraine. Please visit our “Recent Trips & Events” page for more information on past trips.
In Matthew 10:7-8, Jesus commanded us, “As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.”
Surely, I have been given much, having been trained, blessed and anointed by several great organizations. Most recently, I owe a debt of thanks to Andrew Wommack and his team of teachers at Charis Bible College, including Judy & George Appelton, directors of the Plymouth Campus, where I am currently enrolled. Simultaneously I celebrate more than a year at my new place of worship, Onset Foursquare Church, under the tutelage of the great man of God, Pastor Gerald Fernandez. He continues weekly to challenge and encourage his disciples to think outside of the box and is not afraid to confront head-on the issues of our time with the Word of God. I also want to thank Eddie Coe, healing evangelist from Australia for his ministry and training at Hearts Ablaze Ministries. In fact, it was at his meetings where I met my wonderful wife, Linda! She now joins our team of ministers. Prior to that, I was under the leadership of Don Andreson, Senior Pastor at The Vineyard: A Community Church, who greatly supported this ministry from its very inception, and encouraged his flock to do the same. I am so blessed to be still learning and experiencing God’s love, His power and His holy anointing under the leadership of these Spirit-led ministries! It’s my time now to be not just be a vessel, but be a channel of God’s Healing and Saving Power, to flow through me to bless others!
Our mission cannot go forward without donors and prayer warriors like you. That’s why there is an “s” in Hearts for Ukraine. It’s not just Linda and I and our board members, but many hearts joining in prayer and giving for the people of Ukraine to be blessed. I am able to go because so many of you who give donations large and small.
Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account.
In Philippians 4:17, Paul is saying that when you give towards a Godly purpose, you gain Godly credit! It’s as if you went and fed the poor, preached the Gospel and healed the sick!
Please pray about supporting us financially as I pray you will be blessed in doing so!
Help Still Needed for War-Torn Ukraine!
Since the take-over of Crimea and the war in Eastern Ukraine that began in 2014, there have been thousands killed and hundreds of thousands have become refugees. The resulting political chaos has wreaked havoc with the economy and now more than ever our associates, their families and the people they serve are suffering. Our many friends and colleagues here in the states and in Ukraine are praying for God to protect Ukraine’s sovereignty and its people. Please give generously now to Hearts for Ukraine so we can pass this blessing on to the orphans and good people who care for them.
Please join us in prayer. And mail in your donations to:

As I think of a people and nation oppressed by evil forces, this prayer that begins Psalm 35 comes to mind:
“Contend, Oh Lord with those who contend with me.”
